At team coaching we focus on the team and therir interactions. The total is more than the sum of its parts.
One dimension being added is group dynamics. The group development stage in which the group finds itself, co-determines the nature of problems and challenges a team faces.
Team coaching is based on an integration of the individual and group dynamics that focuses on interactions, conflicts and cooperation. What kind of people are on the team? What qualities do they have and what roles do they perform? How do team members interact and what is going on “below the waterline”? What is the goal of the team and how is the task responsibility? These are the issues addressed in team coaching.
The stage the group and/or team is in helps determine the nature of challenges and problems that arise.
