Walsha provides quality, evidence-based psychodiagnostics for a broad spectrum of mental health conditions.
Our test center:
In our independent test centre, we carry out psychological tests on behalf of professionals such as psychiatrist, court psychiatrist, medical specialist, neurologist, etc.
If you wish to be tested as an individual at Walsha we ask that you contact a psychiatrist, court psychiatrist, physician specialist or neurologist. Upon request and in consultation with this professional, we will initiate the testing investigation without delay.
Psychiatrist wait times can be significant. We have no influence on this, nor on his/her way of working.
Our operation:
Step 1: Intake interview
We currently have an intake freeze. As of July 2023, you can schedule an intake again.
Cost of intake interview (1h): €150, including file cost and consultation assistance network (psychiatrist/doctor, school, psychologist, …)
During this conversation, we will paint as complete a picture as possible, including the development period, current complaints and exactly what we can do for you. At the end of this conversation, we discuss together what follow-up courses are possible.
If client is a minor he/she is accompanied by his/her (foster) parent(s)/guardian(s). We note here that in the case of divorced parents (where both parents exercise parental authority), the consent of both parents is necessary.
Step 2: Consultation (multidisciplinary, if network available)
After the intake interview, we coordinate hypothesis and testing studies with our team, your psychiatrist and the supervising support network (if any). Based on this, we will provide you with a customized price quote.
Step 3: Scheduling test dates
After your written approval of our price quote, you will be contacted by our team to schedule test dates.
Step 4: Research phase
Psychological tests are conducted.
Step 5: Consultation
A few weeks after the last test moment, you will be invited to the counseling session. During this conversation, we go over the test results and our conclusion, give advice and discuss any follow-up care plans.
After this, you can see your treating psychiatrist for formalization of the diagnosis if applicable.
Psychological testing is always customized to best suit the client’s specific needs and request for help. The cost is between €1000 – €2500.
Please provide us with previous examination reports (psychiatrist, CLB, speech therapist, physiotherapist, psychologist, etc.).
The purpose of the psychological test examination is to provide clarity and enable proper guidance. Where necessary, in collaboration with psychiatrist, physiotherapist, psychomotor therapist, speech therapist, etc.
In this way, our psychological test research contributes to your diagnosis.
We offer a wide range of psychological tests for evaluation of intelligence, giftedness, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, psychosocial, (anxiety, depression), personality (Borderline, Narcissism, Psychopathy, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder…), relationship quality and trauma.
Psychodiagnostics is a way through which we scientifically make an objective and systematic evaluation of your psychological problems by conducting psychological tests. This will give you practical tools for the indication of the most appropriate guidance path.
In our test center, we work in accordance with the protocols available in Flanders.
We are happy to make our expertise available to you as individuals, caregivers and organizations.
We are also registered in the
national register for court experts
allowing us to perform assignments before the court. Check out more on our court research page!
Efficient organization and diagnosis are paramount! As a result, we have extremely short wait times and favorable turnaround times.
We are extremely transparent and open to any professional form of evaluation or audit. In order to function at an extremely high level of quality, we turn to other professional organizations such as the Flemish Agency for Persons with Disabilities (VAPH) and the Flemish Quality Center for Diagnostics.
If you do not find what you are looking for, please feel free to contact us and together we will agree on how to help you. For a reliable diagnosis, multiple tests are often necessary to arrive at an informed diagnosis.
Applications for a psychological test examination can be made privately from the age of 18 or from a professional referral (justice, psychiatrist, CLB…).
In case children of divorced parents are notified, both parents must give consent for the examination.
